SUMMARY:Generative AI & Synthetic Data for Healthcare
DESCRIPTION:Discover the future of generative AI and synthetic data in the healthcare industry! The webinar aims to explore the revolutionary possibilities that these technologies offer. We will dive into a world of innovation and learn how synthetic data generation can accelerate medical research\, replicate complex scenarios while ensuring user protection and driving the development of personalized therapies.\nRegister \nWebinar goals\nThe objectives of the webinar are multiple. \nFirst\, it aims to provide an overview of generative artificial intelligence technologies and the methods used to generate synthetic data in the healthcare context. We will explain generation techniques\, such as Generative Adversarial Networks (Gans) and Variational Aurtoencoders (Vaes)\, allowing participants to acquire a shared vocabulary related to the topic from a technical point of view. \nSecond\, we will explore the practical applications of generative AI and synthetic data in the healthcare industry. Case studies will be presented in which the use of synthetic data has ensured significant results\, such as the acceleration of medical research and the reproduction of complex clinical scenarios\, ensuring the protection of data owners. This aspect aims to provide participants with a clear perspective on the added value that generative AI and synthetic data can bring to health care. \nFinally\, legal and regulatory issues related to the use of synthetic data in the healthcare sector will be addressed. The main regulatory aspects will be examined with a focus on data privacy\, especially personal data. The objective is to provide an overview of the challenges and best practices in the legal context to enable participants to understand the implications and to adopt a responsible approach to the use of such technologies. \nTarget group\n\nData Scientist and healthcare professionals: The webinar provides an overview of the use of generative AI and synthetic data in the healthcare industry\, providing a technical knowledge base and perspective on the added value of practical applications.\nArtificial intelligence experts: The course provides insights into synthetic data generation techniques\, such as GAN and VAE\, providing participants with an overview of this field.\nLawyers and legal professionals: The webinar will cover legal and regulatory issues related to the use of synthetic data in the healthcare sector\, offering a perspective on the legal aspects of emerging technologies.\nEntrepreneurs and business leaders: the course illustrates the potential of generative artificial intelligence technologies and synthetic data in the healthcare sector\, providing concrete examples of practical applications and analyzing challenges and opportunities for businesses.\nStudents and academics: The webinar provides an up-to-date perspective on emerging technologies in the healthcare industry and explores technical and legal issues related to the use of generative AI and synthetic data.\n\nProgram\n\nBrief introduction of Aindo\nArtificial Intelligence (AI) Generative\nSummary data\nGenerative AI & Synthetic Data\nSummary data characteristics: ensuring accessibility\, availability and data quality\nSummary data: Utility and privacy metrics\nSummary data in healthcare: Applications\nThe synthetic data in the light of Reg.UE 2016/679\nAnonymization and synthesis: a normative overview\nPerspectives: the European Health Data Space\nConclusions\n\nLecturers\nSebastiano Saccani\, PhD \nSebastiano Saccani is Chief R&D Officer and co-founder of Aindo\, and oversees research and development. Sebastiano holds a master’s degree (cum laude) in physics from the University of Trieste. He obtained his PhD at the International Higher School of Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste in 2013\, specializing in condensed matter theory and simulation. Sebastiano has gained significant work experience in the fields of financial mathematics and machine learning in the insurance sector (respectively in List and Allianz Technology). \n  \nAlessandro di Pietro\, MsC\, MBA \nWith a background in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA with a focus on digital transformation\, Alessandro brings a unique perspective into the world of business innovation\, linked to the introduction of emerging technologies.
