DESCRIPTION:On 20 and 21 November 2023\, in the Seminar Room of the San Luigi Gonzaga Hospital in Orbassano\, the seminar “Patents and business culture in the bio-medical sector” will be heldorganized by the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences in collaboration with bioPmed and Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero. \nThis event\, which will take place for both days from 14:30 to 18:30\, aims to explore the theme of patents\, from university administrative management to the entrepreneurial and programmatic dynamics that characterize the innovation poles and technology parks. \nDuring the two formative afternoons\, 14 speakers\, including 12 from outside the university\, will share their knowledge and experience on the procedure and management of innovation processes in the field of medical and technological patents. Through a range of case studies\, the aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of patent management\, particularly to teachers and researchers. \nThe seminar will conclude with a round table where topics related to the university’s interest in business will be discussed\, with moderators who are both professionals and academics. \nParticipation in the meetings is free and open up to 80 participants in attendance\, as well as available in streaming via the Webex platform. \nSee the detailed program of the event.
