Who we are

APRO Formazione’s mission is to train human resources in the area of Alba, Langhe Roero, Monferrato and Valle Belbo providing services of inclusive specialization (upskilling, reskilling for adults and companies, professional skills and Erasmus for high-school students) to 4-5.000 users and 1200 companies every year.

Thanks to the collaboration with actors and stakeholder and a network of more than 60 partners in 22 EU and extra-EU countries, Apro Formazione develops international projects about innovation, mobility and capacity building thanks to the high design and training standards that are recognized.

In this context, APRO is a true HUB of meeting the demand for and supply of jobs and helps to improve the mismatch between available occupational profiles and the skills required by companies, creating quality training solutions and attracting users from other regions as well.

The keywords are digital revolution, innovation and internationalization and are applied to all areas in which APRO operates with its divisions and internal departments: from robotics to services to people, from social assistance to hotel tourism, from foreign languages to oenological training, from IT certifications to those on industrial automation and language, thus increasing the added value of the training services offered.

Deloitte & Touch estimated this value by calculating an economic return of € 3.12 for each euro invested in the activities of Apro, proof of how much they are in fact the engine of development for a territory in continuous growth characterized by an employment rate among the highest in Italy.

In this context, training human capital with skills aligned to the needs of the productive fabric remains the primary commitment for Apro Formazione, in line with its roots and traditions and with a look at the future, to build skills and support economic development, the digital revolution, Enterprise 4.0, social inclusion, environmental and energy sustainability.

What we do

The APRO HEALTHCARE division of APRO FORMAZIONE is the reference for training in the socio-sanitary field on the country, and for over 20 years it is specialized in training healthcare professionals. Apro Formazione collaborates with institutions such as ASL CN2, Consorzio Socio Assistenziale Alba-Langhe e Roero, different local and regional Foundations, socio-assistance buildings, RSA and volunteers. Moreover, it is member of a network of EU partners specialized in long-term care, with which it develops skills funded by the EU Community.

Apro Formazione is member of Commissione tecnica Regionale Sociosanitaria ed Educativa. It offers a true path for professional growth, starting from training courses of upskilling and reskilling (OSS, family caregiver…) and going on with support and integration services in the workforce field. Different companies rely to Apro Healthcare to update their personnel’s technical and specific competences (structure manager, professional follow-ups…) and compulsory training (first-aid, BLS-D, hygiene and work safety, HACCP, firefighting…). Thanks to its project know-how, Apro can catch regional and inter-professional funding calls to provide free training. Every year, Apro has provided around 50 training courses for 2800 hours, corresponding to more than 3000 professional skills in the field since 2022.

Collaborations

With its division APRO HEALTHCARE, APRO FORMAZIONE coordinates the Centro d’Eccellenza per la Formazione Professionale in the field of digital healthcare, in the CARE ABOUT IT project. Presented in 2002, Care About IT is a EU projecy aimed at creating a new ecosystem in professional training in the healthcare field, mixing the technological-informatic and the socio-assistance sectors. The project’s 15 international partners, fronted by Noorderpoort from Netherlands, decided to engage at local and EU level, coordinating their knowledge and expertise. The goal is to foster competencies of healthcare assistance and informatics in training sessions for students and workers and face the deficiency of healthcare professionals in the country partners (The Netherlands, Italy, Finland and Estony) exploiting technological/informatic skills. In Italy, Apro coordinates the operative group that includes ASL CN2 and T4MED – Tesisquare’s division dedicated to telemedicine.
