DESCRIPTION
University and Research:
The University of Turin provides companies with its wealth of skills and research results, with the aim of strengthening relations between the world of research and entrepreneurship, through the transfer of technologies developed within the University and the implementation of joint projects.
Unito offers services and support to companies that want to invest in research and innovation, access to laboratories and equipment, have qualified human resources, access to facilities and incentives.
From the point of view of courses of study:
Each course of study at the University of Turin is part of a Department. There are 27 Departments in the University, which for the management of certain activities and services (such as the coordination of teaching activities and services of guidance, mentoring and Job Placement) belong to 6 Schools:
School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine
School of Management and Economics
School of Medicine
School of Nature Sciences
School of Legal, Political and Economic-Social Sciences
School of Humanities.
Not all Departments belong to a School: the Departments of Foreign Languages and Literature and Modern Cultures, Psychology and Science and
Medicine Technology directly manage the activities and services otherwise covered by the Schools.
Due to the peculiarity of the training they provide, the activities of some similar study courses are also coordinated by Special Educational Structures.
