Who we are

National Molding Italia (NMI) is a company specialized in the injection molding of thermoplastic components and the assembly of technical parts for a wide range of industrial sectors. Headquartered in Trofarello (Turin, Italy) and part of the international Duraflex Group, NMI combines technical expertise, manufacturing experience, and organizational flexibility to support customers in the development and production of high-value plastic components.

As part of an international group, NMI benefits from a global perspective while maintaining a close, responsive, and customer-focused approach tailored to the specific needs of each client.

National Molding Italia operates a modern manufacturing facility equipped with approximately 30 injection molding machines, with clamping forces ranging from 25 to 550 tons. This enables the company to efficiently manage low-, medium-, and high-volume production, meeting a wide variety of manufacturing requirements.

What we do

National Molding Italia designs and manufactures technical thermoplastic components through injection molding and assembly processes, delivering solutions for a broad range of industrial applications. Our experience allows us to collaborate with customers across multiple industries, supporting the development of components that require dimensional accuracy, reliability, production repeatability, and strict compliance with quality standards.

Our manufacturing capabilities include the production of complex technical components, aesthetic and functional parts, and assembled products requiring secondary operations and dedicated quality controls. The flexibility of our machinery enables us to accommodate diverse production volumes, from small batches to large-scale manufacturing, while ensuring a high level of customization to meet each customer’s specific requirements.

For applications requiring controlled manufacturing environments, NMI operates a 200 m² ISO Class 7 cleanroom dedicated to the production of components for industries with stringent cleanliness and contamination control requirements. In addition, the company integrates blow molding technology into its manufacturing capabilities, further expanding the range of solutions it can offer.
