CHEDIH: Circular Health European Digital Innovation Hub
The project focuses on the One Health approach according to which, when talking about health, theentire ecosystem in which humanslive should be considered: animals, plants and the environment.
The Circular Health EDIH project places health alongside the agribusiness system, which is based on the interaction between urban, rural and natural ecosystems, with the aim of fostering the digitization and implementation ofinnovative health and agribusiness solutions based on advanced digital technologies.
From 2023, CHEDIH will provide businesses and the public administration:
- Testing and experimentation services(including digital assessment and technology brokerage);
- Identification of opportunities for public and private funding andsupport in accessing these;
- staff training ;
- Networking locally and internationally.
The consortium is coordinated by the University of Turin and includes the participation of: University of Eastern Piedmont, DIH Piedmont and Aosta Valley, the Managing Entities of the bioPmed and Agrifood Innovation Poles, Confindustria Piemonte, ITS ICT, CSI, independent financial advisor T Lab Consulting, law firm Castaldi Partners, EIT Health KIC and a network of associated partners.
The project will be part of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), nonprofit entities, throughout the EU, linked together to foster digitization of SMEs and PAs and create new business opportunities.
