Discover with us how telemedicine has contributed to the structural and organizational redesign of healthcare in the territory. The topics addressed during the webinar will help to clarify the strengths of the application of telemedicine in the healthcare sector and to highlight the differences between specialist telemedicine, tele-health, tele-assistance.

Webinar goals

Through the sharing of experiences, people actively involved in the application of telemedicine in the healthcare sector will illustrate the relevant aspects of telemedicine technologies and their contribution to the structural and organizational redesign of the service network, especially with a view to strengthening health care in the area.

Target group

The webinar is aimed at everyone and in particular to those interested in receiving information about the importance and criticality of the integration of telemedicine in the national health service.

Lecturers

Alberto Clemenzi. Serial entrepreneur with over 2 successful digital-health startups, Alberto Clemenzi is a full stack developer and has developed the patented software infrastructure of Salute360. During his studies he lived in Australia, the United States, Canada and Germany. Winner of numerous awards and awards in the field of entrepreneurship, science and classical piano, Alberto Clemenzi has a background in the medical field. He has worked as a manager for several multinational companies in the biomedical, medical and health marketing sectors and currently holds the position of Secretary General of the Italian Telemedicine Society. Thanks to his experiences, he is now focusing on the development of high-impact digital-health solutions. In Salute360 oversees business strategy and research and development.

Gabriella Balestra, associate professor of Bioengineering, coordinator of the College of Biomedical Engineering of the Polytechnic of Turin. Graduate in Computer Science, PhD in Computer Engineering and Systems. The research activity is developed through three main areas:

  1. use of clinical process modeling techniques for the definition of medical software specifications, clinical process analysis, analysis and construction of PDTA;
  2. development of tools for the aggregation and/or interpretation of biomedical data, images and signals with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques. Development of clinical decision support systems;
  3. application of data set mining techniques obtained through clinical trials.

Holder and/or collaborator of numerous courses in biomedical informatics. Over the years he has collaborated with numerous biomedical and health companies. Member of the board of directors of SIBIM (Società Italiana di Informatica biomedica).
