THE PROJECT.

The project aimed to build at the European level a system to enable entrepreneurs or those involved in technology transfer, to achieve, under the best conditions of speed and economic efficiency, the industrial “Proof of Concept” (I-PoC) that allows the true economic exploitation of research results (“Scientific Proof of Concept” or S-PoC). The development of early stages (early stage), in fact, is considered globally to be the weakest link in the innovation chain.

The 30-month BIO-CT project was co-funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Research Framework Program.

Deliverables:

  • WP5 (Sharing Facilities) – Deliverable 5.1: From preclinical to phase 1: the bio cluster’s needs for bio facilities – Experience of some European Clusters
  • WP5 (Sharing Facilities) – Deliverable 5.2: Bridging the gap from preclinical to phase 1: general guidelines for biocluster’s development – Report on clusters needs and selection of possible shared facilities
  • WP5 (Sharing Facilities) – Deliverable 5.3: Bio-CT Sharing Facility System JAP
  • Final Publishable Summary Report, the final document of the BIO-CT project, produced through the collective effort of all partners.
